Baby Blue is named for her beautiful blue eyes. She is a seal point tabby, and her fur is so, so soft. She is such a sweet, gentle, quiet girl who loves attention. She’s not a big fan of being picked up, but she adores curling up next to you for pets and gentle head rubs. She likes fish-flavored food and is slowly learning how to play with toys. She is 8 years old but acts like a 2 year old - you'd think you had another toddler in the house!

Baby Blue is one of the nine who recently lost her owner, so her life has been very chaotic over the last few weeks. She needs someone who can give her patience, time, and attention as she adjusts to this change. She was very timid at first with her foster mom and dad but has blossomed over the last few days with dedicated time and attention. Baby Blue will do best in a quiet home with either no children or with calm, gentle, older children who are willing to give her the love she deserves. Meet a Long-timer! Lightning bug or Lightning has been with the rescue for several long years in his foster home, learning that humans are nice, after being found with his littermates and feral mama. Lightning does well other kitties, although he doesnt like huge groups of cats he does fine with up to three or four feline friends. Lightning would likely do just fine with dogs, with a proper introduction. He lives with his brother Thunder, and would love to find a home with him, but we know how hard it is to get adult kitties adopted out individually, much less together. He would also be fine as an only kitty.

Amazing news! Luna Tripod is finally ready to find her special person to love her. No one seems to know much about Luna, but she was taken to the shelter with a badly injured leg. Due to the extent of the injuries, her leg had to be amputated. After a long recovery, she’s finally healthy and strong enough to find her forever home. This sweet baby is still quite young, at approximately 7-8 months old. On top of her terrible injury, she’s also deaf. That was perhaps what led to her injury. Luna doesn’t seem to have had much interaction with people before coming into the rescue. She’s come such a long way, both physically and emotionally, learning to trust and love a human. She occasionally gets to feeling insecure and will meow very loudly to make sure she can still count on her human to check on her. She does not like other kitties or dogs and will do best in a calmer home. This little gremlin is Calleia (ca-LEE-uh). She was an orphan, pulled from the shelter critically dehydrated. Thankfully with the resources of the rescue she made a complete recovery. Calleia is approximately 6 months old and she’s just the sweetest little baby you can imagine. She loves attention and affection and follows her foster mama everywhere. She’s playful and loves her Temptations treats! Calleia does have a little trouble self-grooming, since she didn’t have a mama to teach her. A little wipe-down with a damp washcloth is typically all it takes to keep her clean and tidy, but she’s not opposed to baths. She does seem to be getting better at it as she gets older. This little angel gets along well with other kitties and would probably do best in a home with a buddy to keep her company. Meet Weis Bar Cheesecake, She is an 11 month old cutie patootie. We pulled her last July from a high kill shelter. She has been with us since, she got over looked a lot due to her shy nature. Meet Maui! Maui is a lovely gentleman, estimated 4 years old, who found himself outside and desperately looking for humans to love him. He is a gentle giant for sure.

Maui loves people, all ages. He is playful and sweet, loves cuddles, pets, and affection. This big lug is a bit of an introverted extrovert, and sometimes likes to retreat to a hidey bed to recharge his batteries but loves his humans and all affection. He will carry on a conversation with you, talking with you when you talk to him. We have no Idea how he’d be with dogs, but likely okay with calm dogs with a proper introduction.

Maui has big boy cat energy and doesn’t like other male cats at all. He tolerates passive female cats but doesn’t want them to interact with him. If they ignore him, they can coexist fine. Otherwise he would love to be king of the castle and a spoiled only kitty. He has some interest in the outdoors, so until he’s settled in his new home, it would be a good idea to keep an eye on him when doors are opened.
